My Friend the Logo

A recent article in the New York Times talks about “the new breed of corporate logos“.

Inviting, friendly, conversational, playful, reassuring.  These are the terms used to describe the latest trend in corporate logo design.

Good news for us, according to the article, the Brunello logo is doing everything it needs to…. and it was created 4 years ago. Luckily our logo design (unlike some of the examples cited in the article) has another quality: originality.

  1. The bright, playful colors are popping up all over in fashion as well.
    Also, Wal-Mart can use all the “friendliness” it can get in an identity design. People are realizing they no longer sell products “made in the USA” or products which are “fair-trade”.
